Principle Advisor: Dr John Green

John has worked in the renewable energy field for over 20 years, having completed his PhD focusing on renewable energy in developing countries. He has extensive CDM project experience in Asia and Africa, where he has gained a deep understanding of the needs of project implementers working in developing countries.^ Top

Principal Carbon Emissions Specialist: Christiaan Vrolijk

Christiaan has worked on international climate change and energy issues for 12 years. He is author of the publications, “The Kyoto Protocol: A Guide and Assessment”, and “Climate Change and Power: Economic Instruments for European Electricity”. Previously he worked for Natsource Tullett Europe, the global emissions brokers, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs, an independent policy think-tank where he was responsible for climate change projects. Christiaan is a globally recognised expert on the Kyoto Protocol and emission reduction projects.^ Top

Chief Representative, China: Qian Yiwen

Qian Yiwen has 9 years’ experience working in the Provincial Development and Planning Commission in Xinjiang and one year working in the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission. She has managed a wide range of projects funded by international donors, including the Asia Development Bank, World Bank and the European Commission. She has extensive CDM project experience in China. She was a visiting scholar to the Business School of the University of Maryland, USA for two years.^ Top

Chief Representative, Vietnam: Le Thi Bao Ngoc

Le Thi Bao Ngoc is Carbon Resource Management Limited’s Chief Representative in Vietnam. Based in the company’s office in Hanoi she leads a team of 4 people. She worked for 14 years at the Climate Research Centre, MONRE, as a senior researcher on Climate Change and GHG Emission Reduction Projects in Vietnam. She has been focusing on the development of CDM projects in Vietnam since 2003.^ Top
